Founder and creator of Latino Bambino™, Urska (now mum of two teenagers) says: “After becoming a mum it was difficult to find time to commit to any form of exercise. I found myself dancing at home with my two little Bambinos and that’s how the programmes started.
Urska was a competitive Latin American and Ballroom dancer and four-time national champion.
She is a qualified Latin-American and Ballroom adjudicator, coach and has over 25 years of experience in teaching dance to children and adults.
Urska is passionate about dance and benefits it has to our mind and body therefore after becoming a mum she chose to focus her knowledge and time on creating educational music and movement programmes for post-natal mums and pre-school children and their parents that are closely linked with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and include elements of mathematics, communication & language, personal & emotional development, literacy and understanding of the world.
With child obesity on the rise, Urska firmly believes that education and love for movement starts in early years.
